    Spoke this evening with a journalist who was present and there were almost no spectators. Even during the main event. It's a shame because Sunny Edwards is really a skilled boxer with a good boxing brain. His fine boxing qualities deserve a large audience.

    Problem is he's not got a very fan friendly style and fights in a division that there isn't much interest in to begin with. Warren tried to push him but it never really took off and he clearly wasn't bothered when Edwards left him. But even so you are right, an undefeated champion fighting in front of a few hundred people on a free internet stream is still very poor.

    I hate to say it but a bit of Matchroom "magic" from a few years ago and they could IFL'd the hell out of Sunny for a few years and stuck him on later on on Matchroom cards and he'd be doing a lot better.

    Sunny ain’t likeable one bit going on his interviews, or online persona etc. Unfortunately no average boxing fan is going to pay money to go watch him, as good as he is…

    I am well aware of everything you write. Sunny Edwards drew no viewers to BT Sport and he sells no tickets. Too bad, because he's a good boxer that I enjoy watching, but I'm in the minority.

    2 security staff were in hospital from the trouble at the show. Was Romanian gypsies and Albanians kicking off.

    Scumbags. Can't stand going to boxing these days. Full of dickheads.

    why would they be there when there was none of their fighters on the show?

    edit: just saw there was one Romanian boxer I've never heard of lower down on the card
