Let's say Foreman doesn't fight Schultz and decides to avenge The Morrison fight. Is it repeat or revenge?
If Tommy fought the same and remained disciplined as he did in the first fight, I don't see why he couldn't repeat the win. Even Crawford Grimsley managed to go the distance (and win a few rounds IIRC) against George by copying Morrison's blueprint, and Morrison was superior to Grimsley in about every possible way. The game plan that Morrison used in that fight was always going to be a problem for George at that stage of his career.
Morrison was very much into his partying womanizing ways by this point he barely got by Ross Puritty. He also looked unimpressive against journeyman he was supposed to blow out.
Yes, I would never bet on Morrison beating George in a supposed rematch, but if it took place within six months of the first fight, and Morrison stuck with the original game plan, I'd lean towards him. Morrison did get smoked by Bentt just 2 months or so after beating Foreman, but he came out swinging, completely careless and got nailed. If he fought Foreman like that, he's probably get KO'd. He boxes, stays disciplined and cautious, he would have had a good chance at repeating his victory over George IMO.
