(usually) Hunis footwork, lateral movement and stamina are great. Very hard to catch. Seems like he can go flat out 12 rounds with movement. Blazing hand speed, all the shots. The concern is, for the amount of shots he lands, very few opponents fall over despite the volume of shots he lands. Extremely unusual for a solid 6'4 heavyweight. So the concern is his power.

His team seem to have listened to the outside noise and are trying to get him to punch harder by 1.Gaining weight. and 2. Standing (still) on his punches. Which may be fine for some fighters. But Huni has world class lateral movement, great footwork that makes him hard to hit. They have sacrificed that to get him to (try to) punch harder. Thus turning him into a slugger that stands in front of you and (as yet) he still cant knock you over!

Imagine telling a young Ali to stand still in front of your opponent and punch! Ali would never have become much at all, and Ali had a great chin. Hunis chin?...well perhaps suspect. Hunis trainers are fking with him in ways they cant imagine! If he get knocked over by one of the club fighters he is being matched with, by standing flat footed and punching on with them, then hes going to have a short career.

Here Josey. Huni sparring with a Cruiser (or light heavy?) a year or 2 ago.

Ahoy mates! Make some room in the trophy cabinet (aka the Australian boxing bling box) for our latest addition - a brand spanking new WBC Super Featherweight world title belt courtesy of our good friends at the WBC & Hall of Famer & first man in history to win four world titles in four separate weight divisions while remaining undefeated doing so - Jeffrey Fenech. The Junior Lightweight division has been a happy hunting ground for Australian fighters over many years, with Jeff being the first of our kind to claim the WBC version of the title. A grievous injustice to Australian boxing has been righted. It only took 31 years for it to happen, but the history books have been rewritten. Jeff can now assume his rightful place as a four-time world champion in four different weight divisions.

That's what we're all about here on The Stifler's Mum thread - making history. Whether it be going Undisputed, winning world titles in multiple weight divisions or Olympic medals, we're on it. Keep it right here for the best coverage of the best brand of boxing anywhere in the world - Australian boxing.

I know a lot of us will be watching because he is one of our boys but most are saying that this Love v Spark card is one of Eddie's worst lol. If I wasn't an Aussie I would probably have to agree lol.

We rollin'! Big win in the US for our man Stevie. The other bloke couldn't take Stevie's power & then wanted to bail out of the fight when he got cut. Given an extra minute to try & steal a round to win on points, he realised that wasn't going to work & threw Stevie out of the ring in frustration. The American ref, to his credit, disqualified the ill-disciplined Love. The ref then has to put up with being abused by the local Cleveland officials, Love's corner, Love himself & Fast Eddie Hearn. Thank goodness there is at least one official in America who puts the integrity of the sport above patriotism. And that he was refereeing Stevie's fight today.

Would like to see conquering hero Stevie Spark versus quiet achiever Liam Paro to determine the best Light Welter in Australia.

Winner to get a shot at the Undisputed Light Welter World Championship currently held by a very beatable Scotsman.

Come on, Fast Eddie. Give us a decent main event down here on a DAZN show. The last one didn't make it out of the first round.

Normally id agree mate. I called on mundine to do the same thing... clean up at home 1st. He did AND found time for some title challenges! But Choc was a rare beast with real skill for a bloke with little ring experience.

I think theres a time for these 2 Aussies to fight, but how about they both make a splash first individually to give us 2 talents to cheer for before one gets 2nded..?
