Yeah. He got an early Christmas present that night. But he did have a hurt shoulder. I think the ease in which he beat Castillo in the rematch proves that much.

 

By the way, was there a rematch clause for that fight or did FM want to prove he was in fact the better man?

 

Yeah, but most everyone had Castillo beating that ass in fight 1.

 

He had a injury half way through the fight and still.kept it competitive

 

Also, not the it really matters, and not that I necessarily agree with it, but the AP also had Floyd over Castillo 115-111.

 

Funny though, how Floyd had a reason for his low performance due to his shoulder bothering him during the fight & i don't recall him even needing surgery to repair it,

But when Pacquiao tore his shoulder almost a month before his fight & then afterwards actually got it surgery operated on with a full years break due to rehab it was instead looked at as lie, an excuse & ignored to the point where it is not even a talking point as to if it could have potentially played a part in the fight itself, Ironic.

At last I can talk about floyd vs castillo and pacquiao's shoulder. I never could.

So Floyd gets to enjoy the benefit of the doubt while Pac's accused of lying despite a renown sports surgeon issuing a formal statement and taking a full year off to recover?

 

And imagine the judges actually got it right that night by awarding Castillo the win who was also injecting his hands & caught using an illegal IV prior,

Then Castillo turning around & never giving Floyd a rematch by taking his ball & running home, wonder what the fans would say then, hmmmm .
