Anyone who thinks John Fury is following a “script” like WWE needs to think again. This is a man who gouged a rival’s eye out in public. He’s a total lunatic who is probably a little envious of the fact that his son became the king of the boxing world. We all know he is clearly after the limelight. Add to the fact that he is a lunatic it’s hardly far-fetched to believe that he legitimately lost the plot and went after Jake.
To be fair he’s not crazy enough to actually get in a fight with anyone. I suppose lunatics can still suffer from a lack of confidence.
Jake needs to come on here and get some pointers. He'd checkmate the furies if he agreed to the fight with Tommy Mae on the condition that Joanne fights Mickey Theo on the undercard. Looking at the state of Joanne, I reckon mickey theo could outlast him.
This is exactly how I see it, the guy is a complete loon that beat women, he did it in front of his kids and if we're to believe everything Tyson says his dad did a lot of horrible things as he was growing up. Obviously we don't believe everything Tyson says, the man is a World Class boxer but a babbling idiot, but I don't doubt that John smacked women around, was controlling and I'd like to hope not but when it came to sexual stuff......Jesus, that's why I just can't take to the man.
I don't doubt he's done things in the past. But he's certainly far more mouth than action. As the Micky Theo thing showed. If he really wanted to get to Jake Paul he could've got over to him, he was happy to be mildly held back.
For anyone that thinks that John Fury is this walking wrecking ball, please can you remember that he was getting iced by a Journeyman with a losing record nearly 30 years ago. Jake Paul would absolutely destroy him. I think John Fury will be dead within 10 years, you can't be that emotional and overweight and get to 70 before your heart packs up.
Do you not think it was suggested to them to create some 'Beef' to promote the fight? I'm sure there are some smart guys in that Paul camp who now how to promote their man. Same goes for Andrew Tate cameo, staged.
The fact that some people find him entertaining and are willing to pay money to see him at an event says a lot about the British public.
I don't believe he's envious of his son which he loves quite dearly. I agree with everything else you said though.
Don't be surprised if he is. My paternal family are Irish travellers. Equally unhealthy but he's still knocking about in his mid 80s. They might be horrendous but they're sturdy sods
