He had 2 close fights Castillo and also a close one with Maidana. Floyd was kind of lucky to always get the nod on those. But he should he have a loss? I do not know. Perhaps not

Zero, as a lot of great fighters have had lucky breaks, decisions go their way etc.

If the decision is 100% blatantly wrong then yes call it out, but if it just bad roll of the dice then put it down to experience.

I am of the view if the record says win then win it is, the result is not going to be changed.

Some ya win some you lose.

Like others have already stated, the only one you can really argue is JLC in the 1st fight. Maidana fought an unexpectedly tough fight, but the best case scenario for him is a draw. I had Floyd winning 115-113.

Not that incredulous...it was a split decision against an old ODH...

Interesting that the overwhelming majority believe he lost at least 1 fight.

Defo lost Castillo 1 fight and illegal use of iv for PAC fight should be a no contest .

There isn't a single fight on his resume where the other fighter clearly beat him. He had 2 close fights where either fighter could have won. So 0.

Although the iv and the much delayed post fight exemption Floyd received for the iv is in my opinion clear evidence he cheated in the Pacquiao fight and that fight should have never happened, that wouldn't count as a loss or dq anyway. Like seriously, how the hell is Floyd dehydrated at 147??? Gtfoh.

    Anyway the answer is 0

He should have 3 draws. The first fight with the JCC, the first fight with Maidana, and ODH.

Perhaps a loss for the first JCC fight.

You could also make a decent argument that the Pac fight should be ruled a no contest.

I say he should have 3 losses.

    Castillo 1
    Maidana 1
and he should have been dq'ed vs. Judah (though im glad he didnt)

0 a close fight doesn't mean an automatic loss
The jlc 1 fight is a fight I'm starting to think most people didn't see and just repeat what others are saying. Pbf clearly won the first 5 rounds of that fight won another round when jlc got deducted a point and another round after, that was 7 clear rounds that pbf won. Pbf losing to jlc is a myth the wide score cards were a cruel joke but the right man won a close fight.

its been years since i seen the fight and since you are just internet pixels to me, i have no want or care in the world to go dig it up to hash out a debate with you. I felt like Floyd lost the fight when it happened live on the air. Through the many years of it being debated I felt Floyd lost the fight .... and i can assure you that i do not need to re-watch it for the 10th time to tell you i still think he lost the fight.

Thats about as good as your going to get from me.
