Interestingly enough, at one point before this thread was moved, it was even between those who saw Golovkin inside the Top 15 or outside the Top 15. I believe it was 13 apiece and that was just before this thread was moved. Which means that, since then, 49 people voted him inside the Top 15 and 10 had him outside the Top 15. I think that, in a microcosm, perhaps best represents who opinions differ from the Classic and the General. So while the original intent is indeed skewed, it draws an interesting picture all the same.
Didn't say anybody said that. I said that even if he did he still wouldn't be top 10. Id respond to the first part of your sentence but it doesn't matter.
Wrong. If GGG beat him the first time, you can’t sit here and say for certain they’d fight 3 times. Especially the last fight, which in hindsight didn’t even need to happen as GGG is far past it.
You're missing the point. What I meant was that squabbling over wether or no he got robbed is pointless as he would'nt be top 20 either way, because his resume is just too weak.
To me personally I still rank GGG as undisputed Middleweight champ. No way will I accept Clenelo as the winner of the first 2 fights. Hell if GGG had started to fight a round earlier he'd have won the third too To me Canelo GGG & it isn't really anywhere close. We know GGG can FIGHT!! & win, we know Canelo can FIGHT!! but can he fight &win without his blatantly obvious "HELP"
1. His real resume isn't good enough. 2. Canelo is not a atg mw himself. It's a perfectly reasonable statement.
What’s funny is I was just on eyeonthe ring.com and what’s even funnier is that I looked at the score cards for the first two fights on the community wide scoring basis, the community awarded Golovkin seven rounds in each of the first two fights, so even using eyeonthering as a sample size, that would mean the majority of those fans think GGG won both of the first two fights.
