He didn't quite remain okay, he was clearly badly hurt and all over the place, but still impressive he didn't go down.

Just gotta say this has been a great fight so far. These are two tough ass hombres pummelling away at each other! Cruiserweights rarely fail to deliver at the top level with the exception of Okolie.

He wasn't so badly hurt that he lost his bearings. He seemed to remain cognisant of what to do despite shipping a lot of huge punches consecutively.

Egorov trying to reestablish his jab early, Arsen less active, but also landing the bigger shots, only fewer and farther between, both holding now. Arsen lands a combo, Egorov fires back with two of his own. Arsen going to the body, then lands a one two that stuns Egorov. Arsen's clubbing overhands and left hooks to the head and body are taking a toll, prompting Egorov to hold more and more. Arsen flurries late and lands a nasty left hook at the bell.

The amount of flush straight rights Egorov has taken in this fight is pretty crazy, Goulamirian looks a lot more fluid and explosive now compared to the early rounds where he seemed somewhat stiff

Arsen out very aggressive, lands a right, then a few one twos, pace slows. Egorov does some decent work inside, Arsen nails him with two overhands and a compact one two down the middle. Egorov holds. Egorov lands a few nice uppercuts. A lot of holding and wrestling, then a savage combo from Arsen has Egorov reeling, then holding. Egorov throws and lands a few weak shots, then Arsen clubs him like a baby seal.

Egorov must have a ridiculously strong neck because his head's somehow not whipping around as much as it should with some of these clean ass bombs he's eaten.

Yet Weeks is letting him take more and more punishment, yet again. Not saying it's that bad yet, but getting there.

Both their lifespans have been shortened by at least 5 years. They both ate vicious shots to the head.

This has been a particularly brutal affair. These are just bigger Gatti and Ward in a good few ways.

Arsen focusing on the jab early, then going to the body, then whips in a few uppercuts. Weeks warns Egorov for something, not sure what. More holding. Arsen with a series of one twos and left hooks to the head. Uppercuts from Egorov, then hooks from Arsen. Egorov is dead tired, Arsen clibbering him with one twos, following up with overhands. Arsen clips him with several uppercuts on the inside, he's relentless.

The moment I laid eyes on Goulamirian, I knew he was special, and picked him without hesitation over the at the time favorite Ryad Merhy, and by stoppage.

Egorov almost never drops from his stance, his balance and awareness of position is impressive.
