I think the fact he stays so poker faced and doesn't give off any distress signals even when he gets blasted plays a part in that, Egorov is the kind of guy who doesn't have any quit in him and just continues marching forward. They should definitely keep a close eye on him as he took a lot of shots but he always does just enough to make it look competitive

    Round 1 Egorov 10-9
    Round 2 Egorov 10-9
    Round 3 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 4 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 5 Egorov 10-9
    Round 6 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 7 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 8 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 9 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 10 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 11 Goulamirian 10-9
    Round 12 Egorov 10-9

Arsen nails him with a nasty one two at range, he gets in close, Egorov holds. Both men landing compact combos to the head, inclose. Arsen jabbing off the backfoot, Egorov goes to the body. Both men looking to hold now. Egorov jabbing better now, following up with one twos, arsen backs him off with one twos of his own. They both go at it in close, neither man landed much clean, but Egorov may have edged the 12th with cleaner work.

    116-112 Goulamirian

    115-113 is fine as well.

Man I think I have this one a draw actually. Great fight from both men though so I don't mind so much if Goulamirian gets a close decision.

Commentary and crowd cheered at whatever moment Goulamirian had, and were silent when Egorov had success. Goul probably did enough to win but the fight was definitely much closer than what the clowns in the booth had. These tiny arenas always favor the home fighter as far as the psychological influence of crowd cheering is concerned.

Egorov looks like a balding bigger version of "The Franchise" Shane Douglas.

Wouldn't say he's special but hes a very good CW. Division is noticeably weaker than it's been in the past.

117-111 x2, 116-112. Didn't catch the early rounds but Asen controlled late, so they seem fine based on the RBR.

To beat a guy like Egorov and Merhy, he's bordering on special.

115-113 Goul or Draw were more reasonable than that. Many were likely swayed in some close rounds due to the cheering.
