He's getting closer to fighting a real boxer at least. Maybe someday we can see him against an actual ranked professional that actually knows what it feels like to win a professional boxing match. I'm sure if that happens it will be against someone small with a name like Ryan Garcia
It just goes to show how poorly run boxing has become with so many fights not being made, boxers often reaching retirement age before it does happen, fighters excuses, fighters pricing them selves out, bla blah blah... We wouldn't get jake paul making such a splash in the sport if the sport hadn't made such a mockery of itself already! If people got half the fights people want there'd be no interest in watching some novice fight for millions of pounds. Quite sickening really in a professional sport where people train for from kids to adult and most never earn as much from a career that jake does from 1 fight! Not a good look. Meh!!
Another huge black eye and embarrassment for the sport boxing inflicted by the infinitely superior code of MMA UFC fighter Greg Hardy not only drops Hasim Rahman Jr. and comes within a whisker of stopping him but the ref didn't call the other KD and wait for it.. the MMA guy yet again demonstrates he has the better hands and boxing skills than the actual boxer. And even worse, Hardy was a late replacement who stepped in at late notice the week of the fight How many times does the sport of MMA have to humiliate the sport of boxing before the penny drops about what I've been telling you for years? That being that boxers cannot fight. Hasim Rahman Jr. aka the son of the former HW world champion had over 100 amateur fights and 15 pro ones but he got thoroughly outboxed by a late replacement MMA fighter This content is protected
Exactly. This is what happens if you speak ill of Jake. Tommy Fumbles is next. He better pray that someone else doesn't expose his ass before Jake sends him to the shadow realm.
I mainly remember Greg Hardy from his time in the NFL. He was an elite pass rusher at one point. If I remember correctly, he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend pretty bad and was out of the league shortly thereafter (I believe he played one season for the Cowboys after the assault allegations came out). The guy is an incredible athlete though.
Terrible human being but yes great athlete. He was almost 30 before he even started training in any type of combat to transition into MMA. Can only imagine had he started training training MMA or Boxing in his late teens instead?
I know he's come from NFL and about his assault charge but I'm only familiar with his athletic endeavours in the UFC. He actually lost his last three fights in the octagon via KO or stoppage
Clearly he was drained by boiling down to the UFC HW limit of 265lbs When he was fully hydrated at 320lbs like the other night he's a different animal
I hate Jake Paul but he has improved I think Floyd would take it a lot more seriously than his last few exhibitions and would play it safe against the much bigger man and win a wide UD
Jake Paul is proving that you don't actually need to be any good at boxing to be hugely successful $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. What other sport can a person be ordinary at but make tens of millions competing in it ? Casual stupid fans ruin the sport along with the ridiculous alphabet soup world champion belts.
