Munguia needs to start fighting better competition now, hes got 41 wins and not 1 marquee name on his resume. He needs the Golovkin fight and bad.

He can fight Janibek too. That would be a good fight.

He needs another “tune -up” vs GGG
1st before he is ready for Janibek.
It will be a more competitive fight that way.

    Complete insult to boxing fans.
    100 - 1 favourite!
Munguia, undefeated! Pull the other one, he clearly lost to Hogan!

They want to cash him out against Golovkin, especially now. As old as GGG looked against Alvarez, he would still have a good shot at blasting Munguia out. Munguia just isn't impressive. He's big physically, has decent punching power, solid combinations, and is tough, but he isn't fast, isn't a good defender, and is probably susceptible against someone who is a high-level boxer or aggressor. I think him versus Murata would be a lot of fun.

He doesn't last past the 7th round against GGG, I doubt he'd even beat Murata.

True but it would make better sense to match him vs GGG or even Murata then Janibek at this point.

Just got DAZN the other day, and this was the first fight I watched.....good thing I didn't sign up for autopay, cause I doubt I'll renew next month. Atrocious matches and if this Mangia dude ever fights GGG, he loses even though GGG is done.

GGG by late KO and that’s only cause he’s shot and has trouble pulling the trigger
