What weight? Knowing Canelo, he wont risk his precious belts with Bivol. He'll fight LH so he has his excuse.. .
He hasn’t held all 4 belts hostage for over 2 years though. He fought BJS for the WBO belt about 18 months ago. He fought Plant about a year ago, for the IBF belt. He hasn’t had all of the belts for over 2 years. He’s also had a mandatory, and is facing another one next. When I asked what has Benavidas done, I’m not implying that he’s not a worthy opponent. I want to see that fight. I’m just asking, what has he done for people to be criticising Canelo for taking a fight against Bivol over him? Again, IF Canelo doesn’t end up fighting him, then to me, that will 100% be a duck. Yes, I agree regarding GGG. That was a cash grab for sure. I criticised that fight myself. Although I was happy for GGG to get it, as I felt that he’d been hard done by in their previous fights. And especially the first one. As it stands, I’m happy to see Plant fight Benavidas, and for Canelo to rematch Bivol. Although I’ve criticised Canelo a lot in the past, I don’t think that many guys in his situation would want to fight a guy like Bivol again. Let’s hope that Benavidas beats Plant, and that we get to see them fight within the next 12-18 months.
Tune up BS, that's what you have sparring for. Just another way for the big names to do fights no one wants to see and make money. Fight the winner of Plant - Benavidez in May other wise the whole year is pretty much a waste with one meaningful fight and most likely won't win it.
Clenelo isn't beating Bivol in this lifetime. All he is looking to do is go in and make $20 million + dollars on a half-ass effort and say he tried. He's just trying to fleece the casual fan of their hard earned money. I'll just catch the few highlights of Bivol slapping him around the ring on YT for free.
