Mike Tyson of 1988 vs Billy Conn of 1941, 15 rounds. Could Conn outbox a murderous puncher like Tyson for 15 rounds like when he was outboxing Champion Joe Louis on June 18 1941 until Conn decided to exchange with Louis and got Kayoed in round 13?

Too small to beat Tyson i don't think i'd favour any fighter under 200 pounds to beat a prime Tyson, i also don't think Tyson would struggle as much vs Conn as Louis did. A weakness in Louis is that at times he could be kind of static, which means boxers with movement could trouble him.

Overall i think Conn could pose a few interesting questions with his movement early on, but i'd find it hard to fathom that Conn would make into the 2nd half of the fight in all honesty.

Billy would be targeted fast. This is not a fight he can win at all.
In fact I'm not surprised if this ends before the 5 th.

It ends for Conn, pretty much the same way as it did for him against Louis (I) - just a fair bit faster (inside of 4 rounds, I'd imagine).

Tyson was nowhere near as patient as Louis, I suspect.

Mike can run but he can’t hide.

Billy catches up with him in the championship rounds and Busters him.

Busters him? So the ref wins the fight for him?

Billy Conn does not make the top 100 punchers of all time when Tyson makes #13 of all time greatest punchers. So the opposing theory is Billy is going to out box then knockout Tyson? I'm not sorry to be the one to have to say Conn is out sized, outweighed and out skilled.
The only chance Billy Conn has to live is to walk out of the ring the second he hears the metal clashing of chains as Tyson walks to the ring!

No, of course not. Tyson goes through him like a knife through hot butter.

You never know how a fight between top guys will go.
Even if one seems lesser.
Tillis had lost his last 3 fights & 4 of his last 5 (although against excellent competition) when he threw out the rule book about how to fight Iron Mike & ran him real close-gaining momentum late in the fight
The knock down salvaged the victory for Tyson.

So sometimes a great style or a weak night for even an ATG can make it a hard night-or worse.
That said, the smaller powerful swarmers (I know Tyson was not exactly the latter, but close enough) who are really ATGs are maybe the least likely to lose against much smaller opposition.
Conn would not have the foot speed advantage he had against Louis, especially foolishly dehydrated to not seem like a weight bully.
The moving in & out would be far less effective.

Louis was also tired in 1941, & Conn was his 7th challenger in 7 months.
Imagine a champion doing that today, & the toll it would take on him!
Here is a fine story about Conn & the fight...https://vault.si.com/vault/1966/09/12/a-conn-game-that-collapsed

Barring a really uncommon off night, Conn is not at all likely to make it past the middle rounds.
If that.

At HW, Tyson is the greatest puncher of all time, nobody has his combination of power and accuracy. There have been harder hitters, but not as accurate as him.
