And, if so, does this not provide, at least, some measure of how good Greb was, outside of the written descriptions of him?

Mayweather wouldn't go in a Walmart if he thought Harry Greb was in there , much less get into a ring with him. He'd have as much chance beating Greb as he'd have in beating Hagler....ZERO.

 

I think that its possible to acknowledge Mayweather's greatness while still realising that Greb is not only a horrible stylistic matchup for him, but that he's also much bigger. This fantasy matchup is straight up unfair to Floyd. As Floyd Snr said "my son ain't fighting no damn giant"
