I would disagree with the word PRIME here, tinman.

Pac may have been at his physical prime, but he was still improving. The Pac that faced DelaHoya, Hatton and Cotto was prime, both physical and skill wise. No version of el terrible goes twelve with that version, even adjusting for weight.

That said, I think Erik has clearly a better resume than MAB.

I'm going to say Barrera because he won the trilogy, beat Hamed and for my money as good as beat Juan Manuel Marquez too.

Had he not hit Marquez after dropping him (in a state with a 10 point must system) he'd have a 3 point swing in his favour which easily have been enough to win it as it was already debatable.

Both were greats of their time and I have no issue rating either man above the other.

Edit: Just looked at the scorecards of MAB vs. Marquez, they did not reflect the action.

 

Barrera won that trilogy by the judges but that was as even as it could get. Could have easily gone the other way. .thats like saying Pac won vs Marquez cause he won more fights.

Its not decisive enough that it should put Barrera over Morales imo.

Barrera beat a dude who beat a prime Pacquiao. Morales never beat a dude who beat a prime Pacquiao. But he did beat a Pacquiao. If that doesn't prove Barrera has this, I don't know what will.

Barrera won the 1st got robbed. That was the only clear robbery of the trilogy.

 

Morales forsure. But MAB is a great too.

 

Morales, though MAB has nothing to be ashamed of. Morales beat a prime Pac, MAB got manhandled by him.

 

I thought Marquez beat Barrera fairly clearly in a competitive fight. Even if the knockdown had been scored. Marquez for me was the aggressor landed the better punches, and from memory mostly had the better of it in the 2nd half of the fight.

You also forget to mention that Marquez dominated 2:50 of the 7th round, in which he got dropped in. And theres an argument that could be made that the knockdown was only worthy of a 10-9 round, as Marquez was possibly on his way to scoring a 10-8 round himself, similar to Moorer vs Holyfield 1 round 2.
