I think Andre Ward owns the title. Also in the mix: Bernard Hopkins Andrew Golata Antonio Margarito Headbutting Holyfield Orlando Salido Who ya got?
For me it's Salido. His mauling of Lomachenko was the crowning achievement of a career full of high quality muggings.
Andre Ward Easily the dirtiest - worse for headbutts than Holyfield, worse than Golota for low blows This content is protected This content is protected
Hopkins and Ward were the first that came to mind with multiple infringements over several fights. Salido is a good pick Hollyfield a little less so. Yeah I'm aware of the Tyson fights but they were both coming in constantly it's not like Holyfield was openly punching ball bags and biting people....just saying..
Between Ward and Golota I'd say. I think Golota was more instinctive; the guy's a natural streetfighter and can't help himself. Ward's dirty fighting was more like a practised part of his combos "nut shot, left hook to the head, right hook to the head, uppercut to the nuts ...'
Sakio Bika gets a shout - was really interested in his fight with Ward to see who was the dirtiest! I felt that fight was a lot closer than it was scored, and although Ward won clear, it was Bika that was getting the warnings for foul play - and that's maybe where Ward gets the dirty stigma - in Oakland he could pretty much get away with anything.
Dillian Whyte was dirty as hell to Parker, no respect for that performance at all, but when Fury could use his size, suddenly he's a victim crying to the referee like a baby. David Haye for climbing under arm bars and throwing himself to the floor, then looking at ref like "HE PUSHED ME DOWN!!!!", seen in the Klitschko fight especially, and complaining to back of head shots when they're flush jabs. No respect for him either
Ward. Followed by Holyfield. Poor Rahman had a donut shaped head after Holyfields headbutts. Probably why Rahman jr is on the spectrum.
