Don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere but Boxnation closes on all platforms on December 14. I know there's been nothing on there for years but it is kinda sad to see the old boy go. All those fight nights for those 5 or so years......
Favourite ones that spring to mind are the David Price fights when he was touted to be "The Next Big Thing", as the documentary was entitled, and it was taken off YouTube never to be seen again after he lost. Another great one was vs Erkan Teper. Enzo Maccarinelli vs Shane McPhilbin another classic I'm fond of. Timestamped: This content is protected Some of the best commentary ever heard. Canelo v Golovkin 1: free for existing customers unlike Deadzone who charge you PPV on top of your subscription.
The rematch wasn’t free though. The quality of the forum has really gone down when on every thread we can’t even go a page into a discussion without mentioning Hearn / DAZN / Matchroom when it has nothing to do with them.
The last live fight was a cracker Bakole v Yoka RIP Boxnation and it won't be long until you are joined by DAZN UK
Had some great fight nights , post curry with a couple of close mates, watching so many classic fights, especially the British title fights. Was a great platform at one stage. Shame
Boxnation was more successful than DAZN UK. Provided much better value for money. All of the international fights for a monthly subscription. RIP BILL IVES! GOD BLESS YOU
The rematch wasn’t on Boxnation. Just mentioning how good the value for money was of Boxnation in comparison to other boxing channels of similar ilk.
Boxing on most weeks to suit the British viewer including very good European cards. Lebedev v Jones type fights from Russia and good undercards. The glory days of boxing on TV
