I'm going with Thunder by a KO in a slugfest.

Both guys were so erratic it’s hard to say. It’s anyones fight. I can understand why some might pic thunder though. He seemed to get his act together for a while and went on a decent win streak. Garcia’s career never recovered after that dreadful summer in 1993 when he went on a losing streak to trial horses

With no real confidence, I’ll say Garcia W10.

He struck me as a bit steadier and a bit sturdier when they were at their best.

Would be a nice, fun scrap.

Thunder did seem to go hot and cold. He also had shoulder issues that kept him out for over a year. He was never really the same once he came back.

Both of these guys could crack, but both had punch resistance issues. Having watched many fights of both back in the day on USA and ESPN, Thunder to me was just a cut above. Thunder by KO

They’re practically the same guy, which is what I like about this matchup.

What could very well turn out to be the deciding factor could be how stiff and robotic Garcia could be. He started late and never learned how to get loose; you literally see him thinking about how to do things.
