I feel Fury did not win that fight and a draw was fair in a very close fight. Does not matter what we think, it was a draw.
Wilder put Fury down 4 times in 3 fights and was seconds away from winning twice. Also showed he has massive heart unlike AJ the quitter. Your mate Whyte barely landed a punch and still wouldn't have if they were fighting now.
He wasn’t in trouble in terms of being hit with anything punishing but he was landing less scoring punches and being touched up more.
I had Wilder winning rounds 2 and 4 (close) and the 9th and 12th with knockdowns. Works out 114-112 Fury.
Wilder will face Ruiz and the winner will become WBC mandatory so any hopes of a Joshua v Wilder fight are out of the window for another year at least. Zhang and Hrgovic are tailor made for Joshua so can’t see any problems with either of them. Joyce I think will spend another year in the wilderness. Fury and Usyk are tied up, Joshua and Wilder as above. Not sure who else there is for him? Ortiz? Whyte?
Pjakic and Cunningham also dropped Fury and neither of them are or even close to being world class HWs. Whyte won in 1 fight nearly the same amount of rounds as Wilder did in 3 fights. Being dropped by grazing soft punch to body that didn't connect is not showing "heart".
Yes, it is rubbish. I’d never pay for it. But at least there is a legend as part of it, not a mediocre guy like Joshua as the A side. Those in attendance will be able to say they witnessed arguably the greatest in history.
Was 11 years ago when Pjakic dropped Fury clutching more straws than a w.anking scarecrow there. Massive heart is getting up after huge punches from Fury and not spitting your gumshield out like Humble Femi after a few combos from Fatty Ruiz. How many rounds did Whyte win against Fury?
