Duran would beat Mayweather like a step child. Look what Castillo did turning him into a runner and grabber and a look what Madiana did making Floyd fight for his life.
Those two guys were both nightmares for Floyd and were the closest to Duran in terms of style although miles apart in talent. Duran is a stylistic nightmare for Floyd. He’d run all night.

Look what Benitez, Leonard, and De Jesus did.

Benitez, Leonard, and De Jesus are all better than Castillo and Madiana. With a much different style to Floyd as well. Buchanan fights most similar to Floyd. It’s about styles.

Duran lost fights to these guys, quitting once. That’s a huge difference. And Castillo doesn’t necessarily lose to De Jesus if he’s allowed in the ring at 150+. Same with Maidana.

Keep in mind that Floyd beat Marcos twice and Pacquiao at the same stage of his career as Duran when he was losing to Lawlor and Sims.

The OP is mis-named, as it ain't "neck" that he is missing.

He wouldn't be able to run. Duran wouldn't allow him
to with excellent ring generalship and quick feet...
That means he'll have to fight, try to get Duran's
    respect.
It would end much worse for May Jr. Than it
    did Leonard in Montreal.....

If they had fought each at their respective peaks Duran most likely wins. Anytime after 30 years old Mayweather's chances improve substantially. In other words Duran was the better, greater fighter but Floyd did have longevity because he took care of himself much better. He also didn't have to fight anyone dangerous from 147 on. The competition Mayweather faced doesn't compare to Duran's resume. There is no one close to a Leonard or Benitez on Floyd's 147lb docket. Nevermind somebody like Hearns or further up Hagler.

Mayweather won the Welterweight title vs Carlo Baldimir.

    Duran beat Sugar Ray Leonard.

Ricky Hatton would have beaten Duran anyway of the week. I thought I'd post that last sentence now and save you the trouble.

Benitez was a B list ATG. He’d be lucky to make it through Pac, Oscar, Cotto, and Canelo with a winning record. He beat Duran.

Duran fought three elite boxer movers (being generous to De Jesus) and went 3-4, losing to each. Mayweather would beat him. You just admitted that Mayweather was better after age 30 but somehow excluded that from your calculation of greatness. I find that interesting.

    Facts not feelings.

    Facts not feelings?

    The irony.

You’d pick Floyd to beat anybody.

You’d even pick him over Hagler.

You pick based on emotion, and on numbers which contain no context.

Again, you never account for styles etc.

You are the very definition of a casual fan.

You basically just pick him because he was undefeated.

It never occurs to your tiny brain that Floyd fought lesser fighters in a weaker era.

It never occurs to you that Floyd wouldn’t have fought some of the guys who Duran fought.

It never occurs to you that Floyd never fought anybody the calibre of Duran’s best opponents.

Fun fact: Pacquiao’s place on the ATG list is ahead of every Duran opponent with the lone possible exception of Leonard. None of the others are even cutting it close.

    Fun Fact:

The versions of Hagler, Hearns, Benitez and Leonard who Duran fought, were all SUPERIOR to the version of Manny who Floyd fought.

    You’re welcome.

    Wins: 1

    Loses: 5

Manny pfp#1 excluding Floyd in a year in which Wlad, Andre Ward, GGG, Canelo, Spence, Crawford, Roman Gonzales, Lomachenko, and Guillermo Rigondeaux were around.
