A lot of unfounded slurs being thrown around here. Those accusing him of messing with young boys should be ashamed of themselves and should be banned.A man`s and his familly`s lives could be destroyed. How would you all like it if someone spread rumours about you without any evidence to back it up?
It's a disease just like alcoholism and I really wish Adam Smith will get all the help he needs. He is a class act.
Can't see it tbh. There's nothing to say he's not allowed to gamble. He hasn't got a bbbc license. If he has a gambling issue then sky are more likely to find help for him rather than fire him. Unless he's been stealing of course.
I dont share that opinion. Andy Clarke was recently a commentator at a smaller UK event alongside Spencer Oliver and you could really hear his passion for boxing. Andy Clarke is good.
Adam Smith learned his gambling trade in the tough Gambling Shops in Bethnal Green where one had to fight off muggers in and out of the shops. He developed very good hand speed by frequently cracking one off at the betting counter while his bet slip was being processed. A fighting man who came back time and again from huge losses and once fought off an old women sat at his table when she dared to take the shop's racing post from Smith when he went to the urinal at the back of the shop. A hard night's work for anyone regularly sitting next to Macklin listening to a cacophony of shyte. The answer to the question is possibly similar to why is he not allowed to watch peckers at the weigh-in? Both give him great satisfaction but really should not happen.
This is the entertainment business. Boxing commentators need to be insightful (not rattling off the usual clichés) and also charismatic. He could put a glass eye to sleep.
He's a bit annoying at times, and OTT, but he clearly absolutely loves the sport, so I wouldn't want to kick a man while he's down. Boxing needs more people genuinely interested in the sport, not just in it for the dollar bills
He probably had a bet on the outcome, that's why he used to get giddy all the time. Being serious too.
Yep and hosts the press conferences... could try and make one fighter out to be the clear favourite which like it or not does have an impact on the judges.
