Replace Iran Berkley with Hearns, does the inspired Duran that fought toe to toe with the much bigger man take Hearns?

Unfortunately for Duran, I still see Tommy knocking him to the floor.
Even up to the Barkley ko, Tommy was still doing a job on him.
I don't see Duran being able to pull off a ko win here.
Still an early win for Tommy, imo anyway.

Hearns' style still wrong for Duran but he does n't blow him out double quickly as in their real fight.

Hearns by stoppage within six rounds.

The punishment Barkley took vs Hearns, Duran might of been taken out TBH. Barkley took some brutal punches especially to the body, Barkley literally had to walkthrough hellfire and brimstone to reach Hearns.

Same results, though maybe not as quick.
Hearns was just a bad match up for Duran.
    From welterweight up.

Duran might want to wait another year or two. Hearns was looking pretty shaky; poor stamina and loss of speed

    No.

Duran was slower than he had been in 1984. The only version of Duran that think could beat Hearns would be 1979-80 at 147. Anytime after that Roberto wasn't the offensive fighter he once was. He became a cagey, slick counterpuncher.

Hearns would have too much time and room to get his punches off.

Greatas Duran was, I always thought he was afraid of Hearns. I think he was intimidated with his size and reach, and didn't know how to get inside. Hearns sort of has his number and probably KO's him again. Keep in mind this was the older, "fat" version of Duran that was in and out at that stage of his career.
