Or until Josh Taylor lost his last fight - once the weight is a huge struggle, only a matter if time before the well runs dry

    Wait until next week.

Wembley was empty tonight for what was really a York Hall show

Double there at Wembley tonight than there was at the O2…

Next week you’ll have 20,000 / 30,000 less than Joshua had at the same venue. But still big numbers, solely down to Fury though not Frank and the antiquated Queensberry…

Shame really. I’ve been quite impressed with Ball, Davies, Sheeraz, McCann and Noakes over the last few weeks. Even Bentley went up in my estimation. I think they all have the potential to be headlining shows next year but not sure how well they’d sell.

How come Ryder doesn’t sell in London ?? Local working class lad from Islington which has always had a rich boxing history. Arsenal fan too ?? You’d think he’d bring half of north London with him.

He done a few at Ally Pally, but in general London doesn’t turn out for its fighters like the Northern gaffs do…

    It’s £££.

100 quid for a decent seat, ridiculous food and drink prices in the arena plus travel and accommodation. I’m from up north and a fight night in London would cost me the best part of 400 quid for a ticket, hotel, train and a few beers.

The fact it's four weeks from Xmas won't help either.

He doesn't have a lame gimmick and an obese chancer for a pop.

I think a lot of it is the footy, time of year, and skint.

Personally, when this was all announced I was planning a double night in London and taking in Ally Pally tomorrow but its £££. I've bought all my kids Christmas presents, and tiled the kitchen for less, and I can still watch it on TV and had the Whyte fight on replay this morning.
If it was the summer I may have gone more for the live experience.
