    Dmitry Bivol on a potential Canelo Alvarez rematch;

"Why not at 168lbs? If it's 168lbs it's no excuses anymore. He had some excuses, yeah. He said it's not his weight class, then he said he didn't get a good camp, then he said it was a problem with the arm. 168lbs, no excuses."- Dmitry Bivol(21-0, 11 KO’s)

It would be a shame to see Canelo win a rematch against a compromised Bivol and have all his fans ignore the weight and go back to claiming he is the GOAT

This is BS though. Bivol shouldn't have to drop in weight. Canelo was the one moving up and thinking he was gonna be the top dog and after 1 loss all of a sudden 175 isn't possible for him anymore? Didn't he want to fight @ cruiserweight lol. If I'm Bivol, I would tell that littel drug cheat, only @ 175 and a 50/50 split. Canelo will do it since his ego is so big and he really wants another shot @ Bivol even though we all know Bivol will dominate the little drug cheat again.

I think Bivol is overconfident now.
When is the last time he made 168 and fought at elite level.
Let's say he is only 5% compromised by doing this.
Well, Canelo was close on the cards the first time, so now he could get over the line.
There is also more incentive to give Canelo the win at 168 as that is viewed as 'his' division these days.
    Bivol could come unstuck here.
Might even get hurt now he has to drain more.
If he pulls it off good for him, but seems like a dumb move.
Just stay at 175 and tell everyone you're a small 175'r so Canelo wasn't much smaller, was just beaten by the better fighter. Get the roider angry and make him come up to even the score.

So far Bivol calls out Canelo for the rematch which is usually done by the guy who loss but that's cool, issa money fight. One of the Charlo bros wants to fight him, someone posted the video earlier, that's cool too.
Bivol calls out the other title holder at 175? Not at all. Beterbiev needs a challenge and that would be a great fight for both guys to finally get an undisputed LHW.

You just have to face it, Canelo is the money maker here. He can fight chumps the next three fights and he would still get paid more than Bivol fighting Beterbiev and 20+ killers. The incentive for Bivol is more money, two weight champ, undisputed title, likely becomes p4p #1 if he pulls it off.

Anyhow, it's probably a dumb move for Bivol if he cooks himself too much trying to make the weight, but he has a lot more to gain than waiting for Canelo at 175. Considering his next best fight option is Beterbiev, what's better get KO'd by Beterbiev or possibly beat Canelo at 168?

Canelo is a drug addict who makes excuses when his drugs don't work.

Canelo may be the one who struggles with the weight loss?

    I think Bivol is realising

He is still the B side

Opportunities for a big money payday are disappearing if Canelo drags his feet over negotiations

If he loses to Beterbiev (a very very strong possibility) then his hype disappears too and he will be in a weak position.
