Bivol is gonna dive in the rematch I reckon . There’s a reason Bivol didn’t step on the gas and get out of neutral against Canelo - he was paid to go easy. Canelo’s team will give him enough money this time round for the dive

Bivol is hardly carrying any excess weight as it is, what next Canelo will say ok 168, but there must be rehydration clause blah blah.

He WANTS to fight Beterbiev. He has said its the fight he PREFERS...!

BUT, he is saying if and when a Canelo rematch takes place, it should be at 168 so Canelo HAS NO MORE (PATHETIC) EXCUSES...!!!

Bivol and Bud are only two fights away to become two weight undisputed champion.

Bud also can become 3 weight undisputed champion :campeon:

    I love this, Bivol a G.

Backing cinnamon into a corner. Unlike the above, I don't see the weight drop as a game-changer for Bivol. Canelo would lose at 168 too, and I'm happy to take a ban bet on that (controversial decision aside).

Back-to-back losses against Canelo, especially one at 168 undoes all the marketing they've rebuilt since he robbed GGG back in 2017.
IsaL and the rest of the nut riders will be nervous because if they make this fight it's very likely Bivol schools him again...this time, he has no excuse to fall back on.

Bivol better go for the stoppage this time, otherwise, the scorecards will be prefilled with a clean sweep for the first 6 - like they tried to do in the first fight.

    People should be applauding Bivol.

Undisputed at SMW would look pretty good on his resume. Canelo had the first fight with no titles on the line. Seems fair Bivol should have no titles on the line in the rematch.

If I was Canelo I'd say nah. Canelo still has the cards and he can fight whomever he wants for the same amount

    Just steer clear of Bivol.

Meh sometimes you get beat up. It happens - Still has millions of dollars and a spot in the Hall of Fame.

I see no path to victory for him

If a rematch does take place at 168 Bivol should put his belt on the line like Lalonde did against Leonard

You say this yet 175 is Canelo’s 4th division yet that is ignored when taking about the loss

    A couple of points...

You say that "Canelo was close on the cards the first time" when anyone else, except the bent judges, saw that Canelo was absolutely taken back to school, 115-113 (x2) were an absolute joke. It was around 10-2 (118 - 110) to Bivol.

You also say that Bivol "Might even get hurt now he has to drain more", I fail to see how and crucially where Bivol can successfully drop 7 pounds off an already tight body.

Not having a pop at you fella, just questioning a couple of points although we are on the same page RE Point #2 in a roundabout way.

If Canelo wants a piece of prime Bivol, then it's either 175 or a catchweight of 172 imo.

168 is pure nonsense and Canelo knows this, the ginger twonk.
