Wow, Ward murdering prime GGG is a stretch. Prime GGG is far better than current GGG and it is highly unlikely that Ward would ever even come close to hurting Golovkin. I would give the much larger Ward an edge, maybe 7-5 or 8-4 max, but a GGG KO during his prime is never off the table.

God knows that Ward beat better stronger more skillful fighters than lower case g. If lower case g wanted it he could have had it but he did not want it. Ward greater than Lil g.

The world cup doesn't last forever

No, they signed money man GGG because he's one of the biggest stars in world boxing

Even back in the pre Clenelo days he was selling more tickets in Dre's home state fighting a ''bum'' than Dre did fighting an undefeated contender and GGG could barely speak English back then

GGG vs Wade attendance - in California Ward's home state
    16,353

Ward vs Barrera - in Oakland
    8,532

    Ticket prices

    Ward vs Barrera

    $300, $150, $100, $50, $25

    Golovkin vs Wade

    $400, $300, $200, $100, $60, $30

And don't forget they regularly had to hand out a couple of thousand comp tickets for Dre's fights even in his hometown

So it's actually Big G not Little G and Ward is very much Little A or Little W

So superior he had to stack the deck to high heaven and cheat religiously (puns intended) and he wouldn't dare fight on a level playing field, let alone in his opponent's backyard the later of which Big G did religiously

GGG sparked out Dre's best 'win' Kovalev in the gym with big gloves on and he didn't need to cheat to do it

With the exception of Chad's weight drained corpse, Dre scored one KD in all his world title fights or last 12 fights in total even though he brought five weapons into the ring. Dre was dropped heavily by Boone and was so badly hurt he still to this day doesn't remember the last two rounds of the fight.

And he was very badly hurt and a clean punch away from being KO'd by trucker Kenny Kost

And Kovalev dropped him and wobbled him down to his soul with a jab

Take away all Dre's illegal tactics and he gets hit way way more and if the iron-jawed/iron fisted GGG cracks him it would be goodnight and god bless

You really believe Abel Sanchez’s Bull**** about Lil g sparking Kovalev in the gym. That gives me a great laugh. You notice in your post you admit Lil g was fighting bums pre Canelo.

I think it was a right hand that dropped Dre from Kovalev but what did Dre do. He got up like Jesus Christ was resurrected.God did not forsake his sons Jesus Christ and SOG. Dre got took away Kovalev’s jab and started draining his souls with body shots.

Only bigger. If they were the same size it would be a different story.

What's with this obsession of Andre Ward beating Golovkin lol.. Andre Wards like 6ft 1 and close to 200lb in his prime, a natural LHW basically, juiced too ... there's a clear natural size differential for a starters so I don't know why these idiots that call him little G think it some slight on GGG favouring Ward LOL.. Why they want him beating up on MWs? Thick shits.. One thing I do know is Golovkin would have walked through anything Ward tried and it would have been a very difficult fight for the wrestler... and whichever way you cut it GGG will always be more respected & never had to tarnish & supplement his game with ridiculous amounts of illegal tactics.. No one likes Ward.. they just dont, he stunk & he couldn't cross over because he didn't know which side of the fence he was on

Ironically...these Warts don't want 3G fighting guys his size, while wanting Ward to fight 'the little guy'

I've heard as much from numerous reputable sources

Kovalev even credits sparring Big G for taking his skills to another level

You're seeing things, Olu. He never dropped Kovalev but he did punch him, to quote Virgil Hunter, in the testicles

Kovalev did drop him in the first where Dre's judges disgracefully robbed him of all his belts

So there you have it, GGG was the teacher more or less, which i already knew. I also heard Kovalev say, you just can't hurt Gennady, he just keeps coming forward.
