You could exclude Johnson because he had no punching power and Marciano and Frazier because they were midgets and Tyson because his prime lasted roughly the time it takes Riddick Bowe to eat a McMeal ... ;)

Vlad does not come anywhere near those fighters you have mentioned with the possible exception of Bowe

Everyone leave Double J alone. He'd have Iron Mike biting both ears by the first round out of fear.

Remind me of the heavyweight specimens that Johnson and Marciano beat, the versions that they beat if you can be particular.

    My stance is historically
My stance is historically both fighters have far more relevance than Wlad. This is not a head to head debate both Jack and Rocky are head and shoulders above him in terms of ATGs

I forgot all about Dempsey, would've liked to have seen him and Johnson tussle for sure.

Objectively he's probably like the third "greatest" heavyweight ever, but the majority of armchair fans legitimately believe that athletes in the 1930s were superior to athletes now.

    Agree

Wlad dominated for so long, and fought anyone and everyone for those ten plus yrs

    I’d say Frazier would go

I dread to think what would happen to Wlad if Joe landed his famous left hook on him

Wladimir took punches from way larger heavyweights without so much as flinching. Think about it, when is the last time you saw a fighter below 210 pounds hurt a top world class heavyweight
