Have to say I've been impressed with how the fight has been officiated. No "home" fighter advantages, clean breaks and fair judgement so far.

 

Too much difference in hand speed and footwork, not much that can be done. Do like Troy, game as but Kelly is above this level at this weight.

Nothing of effect from Troy there who’s pressure is the correct strategy but his implementation has been poor - no variation in attack has allowed Kelly to rest.

Williamson completely out of ideas here and has no idea what to do. The thing is he’s not tried anything else’s so he’s only known ploughing forward but is left wanting when he gets there.

Probably so focused on intensity or pressure that's all he's thinking about.

You can tell Kelly was worried about gassing, and rightly so, between every round Booth telling him to breathe and relax.

 

Confirmation for me it's adrenaline dump mentally like Price suffered with after the losses to drug cheats. If Kelly feels he should win he is calm and can avoid it. Needs an elite sports psychologist to avoid it if he is going up in levels though.

 

Kelly shows tonight that he is made of the right stuff.
