He is doing a great job. He was booed all over the place. After the Chisora bout, and when he decided to insult Usyk. Everyone was booing his ugly ***.

I like Joyce but he’s starting to get hyped up a bit too much. He seems like a nice guy so I don’t know how to say this politely.. he’s got a very low iq, both in and out of the ring. He loses handily to both.

Well, I don't believe he was without some sense considerable sense of trepidation where it concerned Wilder, especially the first go around. That may be a point of misapprehension. Wilder actually put his best foot forward in dealing with Fury, came to the table with a magnanimous attitude, which was initially reciprocated, before he was treated to his share of Fury's acid side—Wilder's temperament unravelled because he couldn't cope with that mercurial tendency of Fury to switch between respect and rancor during a build-up (Usyk is likelier to cope much better in the emotional aspects Wilder struggled with). I would expect Fury to harbor some, fear is the wrong word, but, again, trepidation going into a bout with Usyk, because Usyk's shown that he's a fine boxer, and Fury will absolutely be respectful and studious of that.

So I don't feel like I'm really seeing anything different from Fury here, more that we just haven't seen the whole episode play out yet. It might motivate Fury to 'other' Usyk, to cast him as a dark, invasive force from some alien territory, but it doesn't mean he's a rampant slavophobe. He's going to deal with the internal voices in his way, Usyk will deal in his, but pockets of respect and good nature will inevitably break out.

I think each party involved in this new love triangle at the top of the heavyweight table (Fury, Usyk, Joyce) is just being himself. I'd like to see each of the three fight the other two at least once, although I'm resigned to the probability that only two of those permutations will transpire.

Yes. His insecurity and disrespect is going to unleash Dark Usyk who is going to simultaneously euthanize and baptize him in Cossack urine so to speak.

At least the top table is now occupied by three proper boxers. The fakers have been dispatched...

What rules are you speaking of @Saintpat no one violated the word filter, so no rules were violated. We're allowed to insult one another on a manly boxing site. So quit your whining too.

Context Indeed , Fury took Chisora’s 0 back in 2011 and beat him a second time in 2014, the last fight being almost 6 years before Usyk fought him !

And I'll politely disagree that he loses to both. Now.

Joyce is the dark horse and quiet man of the division. Within any given fight he's had as pro he manages to win so far. As old as he is I think he's got a natural long peak, I'm not sure he's actually reached it yet either. Every time his opposition is upped, Joyce just adapts in the fight, in the very moment, and wins...

I can honestly see him beating Fury and Usyk.
