Fury was also clearly carrying Delboy, especially later on. Fury could have knocked him out cold if he wanted too.

He trained like a lunatic and his body couldn’t keep up. Injuries savaged him.

I agree. Hayes win over Del Boy is better and more conclusive than anyone else’s.

Also, he was never in trouble and to suggest otherwise is ludicrous.

Not according to the Fury brigade.

See, you have to fight Del three times, then win around 25 rounds, then say it was easy work, and that its not on par with laying him out flat in 5 rounds. And Haye did him on the cobbles! A real fighting man was Haye.

Haye was also 15 stone then and injury free. The left hook that was the beginning of the end isn’t even his money shot but it was murderous. Good win for Haye that has aged really well in the style of victory.

Very valid point about his weight. Yet Ty comes in heavy af and takes ages to do it.

Haye had a very good career at Cruiserweight but really stunk out the Heavyweight division failing to back up his big mouth.

Unfortunately most people look at Haye and the first things that spring to mind are the 'Toe in Hamburg' and his 2 defeats against a very limited Bellew.

I dont count the Bellew losses to be honest. Haye had been retired as a proper active fighter for about 5 years at that point.

It'd be like Eubank Jr dragging Carl Froch out of retirement and then beating him. Who cares?

Haye sold his legacy for PPV Loot and that is what people remember.

He came back for a bag of PPV Loot by being knocked over by Joshua and could not believe his luck when he got double helpings against Bellew.

Fake beef, best shape ever, going to knock his head off - heard the same in 2011 in Hamburg but those PPV Mugs never learn.
