Fury ducking Usyk is quite undeniable at this point

And he ducked Wlad rematch twice. Yeah Fury is a proven cheat and ducker.

Sometimes that hatman guy can be bias and arrogant, but in this video he is 100% right.

If Fury swerves him through 2023 then this conversation can be revisited, but right now it's too early to say if the fight goes down or not.

In the meantime both guys should just get on with their careers. Usyk can try for Wilder if he likes, or take care of whatever mando business the IBF will no doubt throw his way, and Fury can retire again or fight some no-name bum. Though I will say that the longer the fight "marinates" the worse Fury's chances of winning it become. So if he's at all concerned about his legacy he'll need to be the one pushing for it. Usyk isn't going anywhere.

I watch Hatman but lately he seems to have become a lot less focused on boxing and just riffs on stories he comes across with no great knowledge to back up his points. He always infers things so he can have a clickbait sensationalist title.

After Fury's beaten Usyk you won't be bigging him up, you'll be saying he was "way past his prime", "way too small", "had no punching power", "struggled against Chisora", "Fury was too rough and physical" etc.

Moron gasman was saying there were "shades of Ali-Norton" before Fury schooled and destroyed Whyte. After Fury schooled and destroyed Whyte he said "Whyte never had a chance". That's just one of many examples of gasman massively changing his tune to serve his position.

Do you have a link for both John and Peter confirming that Usyk was a concern for Team Tyson ? I’ve seen a few things online where John,Tyson and Shane have said that Wilder was the biggest threat in the Division for Fury. Considering that Tyson and Peter parted ways in 2015 so no longer a part of Team Tyson I find it odd that both John and Peter confirmed that Usyk was the only guy out there who could beat Fury when Usyk had only had 9 fights at Cruiserweight and was yet to win a World title and then it was almost four years after they parted ways before Usyk had even had his first Heavyweight Pro fight .

Why do you think the longer the Usyk v Fury fight marinates the worse Furys chances of winning it become ?

If Fury wins, I’ll have no problem acknowledging it straight away. Why wouldn’t I? I’ll never understand why so many people have problems with saying “yeah, I got that one wrong”. It’d be childish not to admit when one is wrong.

And although I’m quite confident Usyk will win, there are no foregone conclusions and I’m not a soothsayer either. “Why don’t you bet your house on it then” is a good advice for those who declare they have absolutely no doubts about the outcome of a future fight.

In my book, Usyk is the most complete and best active HW in the world. But that doesn’t make him unbeatable of course. We can talk about probabilities and odds all day, but there are no unbeatable fighters - never were, never will be.

    That’s a perfectly reasonable request.

I recall I’ve listened to these interviews either late last year or early this year. I’ll look them up for you and link them here when I find them.

"If Fury wins, I’ll have no problem acknowledging it straight away."

Good, because the modus operandi for many around here is that pre-fight "Fury will get schooled/flattened" and post-fight "Fury was always going to win, the guy he beat was overrated/no good etc.". This is more or less what habitual liar gasman did (who you express support for and seem to regard as some kind of authority) after Fury beat Wlad, Wilder and Whyte.

Funnily enough, I always see the same thing when it comes to Usyk's fights.

"Huck is a ruthless brawler, Usyk will be found out, especially in Germany" - Usyk wins by TKO
"Meh, Huck is over it, who cares. But Briedis is different from anyone Usyk ever faced, he will not disappoint the Latvian crowd" - Usyk wins by MD
"Okay, Usyk got lucky so far, but Gassiev is a heavy hitter, these Russians are built differently - Usyk will sleep in Moscow, mark my words" - Usyk wins by UD
"Gassiev is **** anyways. But Bellew was an HW contender, schooled Haye and has one punch knock out power - this is where Usyk's luck runs out, guaranteed" - Usyk wins by KO
"Bellew was overrated anyway. But Chisora is in better shape now than ever, and he is a pressure fighter, he will keep coming at Usyk who is too small to bother him - this CW will be found out" - Usyk wins by UD
"Chisora is and has always been a nobody anyway, but AJ battered Klitschko - this is deep waters now, AJ has heavy artillery the likes Usyk never faced before - AJ knocks him out in 4 or even less" - Usyk wins by UD
"Okay, AJ was trash in the first fight, but he learnt his lessons now, he knows what to do, and he will definitely deal with Usyk the second time around, just like he dealt with Ruiz" - Usyk wins by SD (which should have been UD again)

And after every single time, the narrative is "meh, fighter x Usyk just beat has always been overrated trash anyway, but the next guy will beat him, guaranteed!" It keeps happening after each fight Usyk is supposed to lose but ends up winning it still, again and again. Joshua was already supposed to be too big, too strong, and too HW for him. Everyone and their neighbours predicted how Usyk would get smashed. Even most Ring Magazine pundits were absolutely convinced he had no chance.

And now Joshua is suddenly a bodybuilder, trash, and overrated? Ridiculous. I remember well what the vibe was in all online boxing fan communities - Joshua, the second hardest punching HW, was supposed to end this "weak Holyfield 2.0". It was everywhere - on Reddit, on FB, on dedicated boxing forums. It's so childish that most act like that they always knew hos Joshua would get beat, how Joshua was overrated, and this and that and the other. But these are just blatant lies, of course, said by childish people who can't say "well, I got it wrong".

There's nothing wrong in getting it wrong - not admitting it is the problem. So you won't catch me backpedalling on my words - that's not something I do.

Usyk has been in the "proving wrong" business for quite a while, and I fully believe he will beat Fury. But if not, then not - wrong call, it happens, and I'll have no problem saying it like that. There are no foregone conclusions in sports, especially in HW boxing. Otherwise why have and watch fights in the first place?

I forgot to mention that it is what I'm also expecting from others. It is only fair that way.

Since we only discussed how I should and will admit I was wrong in case Fury wins, I trust that in case Usyk wins, you, miniq, MrBarry465 and other Fury supporters will be ready to give full credit to Usyk and admit that you were wrong.
