Muscles don’t win fights nor are they any indicator of strength, Fury’s done fine his whole career just the way he is so he won’t change much if anything for the Usyk fight .

As long as he's not stupidly heavy like near 300lbs, I honestly don't think it will make a difference. He's not going to beat Usyk by trying to beat him to the punch or dance on the back foot allowing Usyk to take the centre of the ring where his agility will be more effective and allow him to out position Fury with his speed of foot.

Fury instead needs to be the one to take the centre of the ring and either make Usyk come to him to take the centre or force Usyk into the corners and ropes where he can pin him down and then do what he did to Cunningham and use his size and strength to maul him on the ropes. At least that's how I see it playing out.

Fury has love handles wobbling over waist band of his trunks, but him carrying a few extra pounds is not significantly negatively affecting him, if he feels happier as he is, then that 'outweighs' any negative impact.

Tysons father stated after the Wallin fight that Tyson was too light at 254 pounds.

Well I am not volunteering to tell Tyson he cannot have a extra slice of cake.

Sure it wasn't Fury who did that?

Fight will 3 years down the road. Plenty of time to get in shape. After surgery there is Whyte 2 and then the highly anticipated Wilder4 fight.

if you think it won’t happen just look at the Chisora trilogy.

Dont believe we will see Fury under 260lbs again.

I expect him 260-263 for Usyk next March

Fury is not fast for a HW, he is fast for his size. He can maintain decent stamina through 12 rounds, but if he were in with a decent HW from a better era who could actually fight & keep a busy pace, my guess is we would see him gas pretty quick at 254, let alone 270 or whatever.

I think an earlier post mentioned that Usyk would be even more effective in the low 200's against the behemoths, and I agree.

Why are you bothered about how his body looks are you gay or something.. what works for him works for him why does he need to slim down & shred up.. didn't work for Wilder or Joshua or Wlad they both got Levelled by fat asses.. Fury, Ruiz, Sanders...

If Tyson Fury shows up to the Usyk fight in the exact same shape as he did against
Chisora, then the result will be the same (there or there abouts), a comfortable victory

I reckon Usyk beats the flabby Fury I saw at the weekend. If he shows up in same shape vs Usyk he's probably relying on a couple of Glen Feldman jokers to get the nod.

Fury will need to be in better shape for Usyk than for his recent fights against punching bags. He will need to be able to outbox Usyk in order to land his heavier shots. Otherwise Usyk pop shots him to a 12 rd UD.

That dude looked like a plump Tyson butterball christmas turkey against Chisora, i doubt hed look any different against Usyk the great. Difference is Usyk is bringing all the seasonings of a great champion and will cook that Turkey when they finally do fight.

He was too light in Wilder 1
