Naoya Inoue Vs. Juan Francisco Estrada — Who Wins?

Great fight, if Estrada fought the way he did against Choco last Saturday he's got a good chance, but you gotta favor Inoue here.

 

Inoue KO 1 at this point in their careers. I would always pick Inoue, but at this point Inoue will have like 10 pounds over him, is way faster, more powerful, and more skilled. I’d pick Donaire to beat Estrada at 118 right now, too.

Bingo my friend, my first thought was 3, maybe 4 rounds. If Estrada wants to build a vacation home to retire in this is a good fight for him.

 

Estrada too small, too easy to hit, would be a short nights work for the Monster.

 

Estrada's a great fighter and should be a first ballot Hall of Famer, but Inoue does a number on him.

 

He had so many opportunities to step into the ring with Inoue over years, but he never threw his name into the hat.

Inoue is moving on to 122 after becoming undisputed. If Inoue stays for 1 more fight at 118, why not?

Inoue all day....Estrada would put on a better fight than Butler thats for sure.

 

I'm still not quite as sold on Inoue as everyone else seems to be, his best win is over a 40 year old Nonito Donaire who had already been beaten numerous times. And whilst Inoue has beaten some solid fighters and looked impressive doing it, i still would like to see him beat some of the household names before rating him. Estrada would be far and away the best fighter Inoue has ever fought.

 

Donaire was 36 in their first fight, calling him 40 is a pretty extreme exaggeration. He went on to become world champion and KO his next two title fight opponents after losing to Inoue. Also, Estrada>Donaire pound for pound but Donaire>Estrada in terms of actual ability
