And what place is that? He's a good fighter with some confidence issues. He and Loma have one thing in common.....they both tend to fight the wrong fight at times. Loma did it against Salido and Lopez. Lopez did it against Kambosos. Difference is, Loma has a better training group. Loma probably doesn't have a bunch of yes men around him. Loma's pop seems like the type of guy that tells it like it is. Lopez needs to get his head right, easier said than done, but I think he has some very good skills and hope he gets things straight. He has a handful of fights that can get him to ATG status if he wins them.
Perhaps. Time will tell. He's still young. He could improve enough to beat some elites. As of now, I agree, he's not beating too many elites at 140.
No doubt but any legal punch that knocks you down should be counted as a knockdown. That was a bad no call.
Sad to see that Lopez is still showing signs of a mentally fragile fighter. It’s really hard seeing him go far in his career if he’s questioning himself.
Like Bradley said "that wasn't fixed in the gym" that left hand down while lunging in with the lead right. Even lunging with the left hook or a double right cross with his lead arm down is dangerous for these step back timing guys like bivol and Martin. UNLESS you are Roy Jones Jr, teo is a specimen for sure athletically but c'mon no superman.
Amazing how most of the forum think Teo lost the fight people forget Martin beat recently an elite fighter Mike Garcia, he is an elusive fighter on top lefty with a good chin Teo hits him hard I think was a good test for Teo don't count him out yet he's young very talented fighter.
Sure also remember when Linares put Haney on quexx street with a right hand he was lucky was in the end of the round Teo was the man last night chasing the elusive Martin who nobody gives credit for beating one the best Mike Garcia a hall of fame candidate.
