I think he barely makes the cut.

A heroic loss to Tyson Fury in a stay busy fight for him, doesn’t put you in the top 10. He struggled against Kamil Sokolowski after that too.

He probably has the talent, but he hasn't got the big fights or resume to put him there. I'm sure he has been iced out, but regardless of that the fact remains he hasn't had to fights to actually put him there. Sad thing is the top 10 is pretty weak so if he actually fought some top guys he'd be up there easy.

He's maybe 11 or 12 for me; he maybe could beat some top 15 guys to break in to the top 10, but he just hasn't had the big fights yet. Currently I rate his ability and skills over Dillian Whyte but he has to be in the top 10 because of the fights he's had (and mostly won).

Based on his resume, he might be in the top 30.

I think his hype will continue forever. Even after 500 years, his fans will keep discussing if he is an ATG or not.

Sorry. Fury often gives title shots to non-top ten ranked men. No, he wasn't in the top ten then or now. Not even close.

He's solid and capable but he's dining out of a loss to Fury in which he had some small success. His competition since implies he knows how good he is. Compare his opponents to Joyce and it's clear one wants the big fights on merit and the other is trying to con his way into a big fight.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's in the frame for Joshua soon.

But 10 top in the division no I dont think so.

I see what you did there. But all it really was was a cut. He didn't do anything else, happy accident

I think he has the potential to be a TOP10 guy. But he hasn't proved so far.

Nowhere near, his entire professional credibility comes from landing a punch (not even a good one at that) that cut fury to ribbons, he then managed to lose nearly every round against a man with just one eye. Wallin is 15-20 at best.

Absolutely not. Top 20 based on demonstrated skill maybe, but that's more a testament to the current crop of fighters than anything else. His best fight so far is a loss to Fury, where he got lucky and cut him, had a few close rounds early on and was able to get in some good licks when Fury started to tire toward the end of the last round.

That's not to say he never could be though. He's definitely talented, but he needs some good wins to get there, and the Wallin that fought Fury needs to show up more. Old man Rydell Booker and a boring decision against Dominic Breazeale don't quite cut it.

    Talented fringe contender presently.

    12-15.

Was occasionally competitive in a losing effort against a one eyed Fury, other than that, doesn't have a win against a yardstick type fighter (s) that could give a real indication of his abilities.

The Whyte fight would have given such an indication, but obviously didn't happen.

Maybe a suitable Joshua opponent, not a crippling puncher, and probably fairly durable, with the bonus that IF Joshua was to beat him more impressively than Fury, then that could generate interest in such a contest, plus if he were to win it, he gatecrashes the world scene.
