This content is protected I said Inoue was looking gaunt the other day and he missed weight initially coming in at 118.1 pounds. On his second attempt, he came in at 117.75 pounds. It's less than half a pound, but I hope the weight cut hasn't drained him. Fight just got more interesting!!!
I'm not too concerned about the missed weight because again, it was less than half a pound. I'm kind of worried that he overtrained. He was at Wild Card in September doing hard sparring with a bunch of different guys including featherweights. So depending on his activity level and how consistent it was, Inoue could have trained for 3 months. The pressure is entirely on him as he's looking to be only the undisputed bantamweight boxer in the four belt era. Then you throw in the opportunity to be the first Japanese and Asian boxer to accomplish this feat and the stakes rise even higher. Butler is a fight he would win easily any other time. But the enormity of the event might play a significant factor in Inoue looking bad and possibly even losing.
Inoue looked fine, but what was that? Did he go vomit real quick and come back? And if anything, Butler’s the one that looked a kinda drained.
I’ve nerver been interested in Inoue. Watching two midgets fight just isn’t entertaining. Calling Inoue the monster is a joke as any normal man could beat him in a fight.
Nobody thinks this who ever actually fights. Go to your local gym and fight a small muscular guy if you think it's so easy. Inoue at 140 pounds and 10% bodyfat has almost as much muscle and way more muscular strength than your average American male.
So just for funsies, I looked up an average American man, and I chuckled. 5’9”, 197 pounds, 40” waist.
