I’m just going to say it but Bud’s attitude stinks.

he did zero to promote this fight, nothing on his own social media, I didn’t see him on any podcasts giving interviews, nothing

No wonder the big promoters don’t want anything To do with him, and he deserves to not get paid

Then he’s dumb, social media makes it easy as hell for fighters to promote themselves and make connections. People hate on Ryan Garcia but he’s smart enough to have a successful boxing story because of social media.

Martin Bakole's trainer Billy Nelson said that he hasn't been paid on two separate occasions and it was big money. Not Jake "Money" Paul big money but it was a lot for a trainer. It had nothing to do with his fighters because they weren't paid either in at least one of those instances.

If I could give this post 5000 likes I would. Crawford keeps bragging about being his own boss so you have to handle your own marketing or pay someone else to. He is failing miserably at that. Like you said, these days it is way easier and cheaper to self promote.

Everyone saw this one coming. Didn’t Crawford say he got 50% up front tho? Anyway, hope everyone gets paid but am not sad about this PPV tanking.

Jake Paul has made many millions not because of skill in the ring but due to his manipulation of social media. If you are a prize fighter it's part of your job to help promote the fight.

They are prize fighter. They do it for money. It is all about the money. You think he fought this mismatch **** for free? He was offered 10 millions for this farce. So don’t give us this bull crap he is a boxer. One of the main reason the Spence fight isn’t made is squabble over money and the other bull crap that has nothing to do with boxing like venue and ring entrance.

I can’t see how fighters not named Bud didn’t see this coming to be honest.. Just as they said they’re a new company who just put on it’s first ever event. There are huge risk in accepting to fight on a brand new platform without any of the current boxing powers backing it.

Crawford doesn’t care because he received his money before the first fight started but unfortunately the undercard fighters may not see a dime due to the obvious financial losses on the event.

The crazy part about this is, when certain fighters do brag, boast and are all over social media they get venom. Crawford is obviously an introvert who can fight his azz off. But I agree it's a necessary evil these days to promote yourself to stay relevant in this sport. He should hire a team that can get him more notoriety without him having to go outside of his natural character in order to gain a bigger following. It could be too late because he's already 35 years old.
