    Exactly.

Eddie Hearn has always been good at removing focus from his own bad cases by making accusations against others.

Watched Eddie's interview he gave in particular surrounding Okolie and his offer from Boxxer & I think that's just him being straight up and straight up is the only thing he knows how.....Yes he talks a lot to the media and is asked various questions on other boxing news that isn't Matchroom related, he's the top promoter is the business of course he would...he gets to the point and people find issue with that.

When he says he'd buy Okolie a 40 grand Rolex if he won a world title....I believe him.
When he says he's seen the contract offer from Sky to Okolie....I believe him.
When he says Okolie's team signed off the agreement and terms for that fight against Jezewski to be separate from his contract.....I believe him.
Or away from Okolie, when he says Eubank's team knew about the results of the vada testing same time they did.....I believe him.

And he's right what he's saying about Boxxer, promotion for promotion they cannot compete with Matchroom unless Boxxer have the backing of 3rd party investment.

Just watched the Shalom interview on IFL. He’s a bit of a drip. He should be saying, we work with the Number 1 broadcaster in the UK, we’ll do what we want because we can. Not all this “oh it’s fair because he’s out of contract” etc etc

Definitely lacks any personality. I guess he's good at the business side of things (maybe) doesn't come across well in interviews at all.

Also open to bending the truth. Been removed as person in significant control of boxxer on the same day they signed Whitakker etc and we’re throwing high six/seven figures at Okolie and Clarke.

surely not hard for someone to ask the questions with facts in front of them.

money must have come from somewhere

Not sure that is significant, probably just sold some of his shares. Fairly obvious the money is coming from Sky.

Sky pay rights fees. There is no way they would put millions up in signing on fees when those fighters are only contracted to boxxxer and not Sky.

he has sold some of his shares to the investors that are bankrolling him.

Eddie Hearn has (and is) making a living from bending the truth and that's putting it very mildly, the irony of using exactly that of all the phrases you could have picked!

I actually think Ben Shalom is playing things quite well. He is in the process of building a business, a very young and new business so he should be a bit more reserved and cautious. If you have to be confrontational always better to do it from a position of strength.

I hope Lawrence is able to sign for boxxxer (or whoever else is in the running) soon and resume his career, whatever we think of some of his performances it's never good to see a fighter sidelined because of contractual disputes.

Agreed. Especially when said fighter could have honoured his contract in August and now be on his way. But he didnt want to do that and thought he could walk away from a contract.

Lets face it if he was correct he quickly could have gone to court and/or arbitration to prove himself right as many other have done before. Point is he has not fought as he is still contractually tied to one more fight

Eddie claimed there were 100 people on the Matchroom Xmas do. Do you think that any of them post on here?

Maybe I've missed it in this thread but someone (Shalom possibly) mentioned it wasn't one more fight, it was matching rights on one more fight? Not quite the same thing but depending on the terms, could hold things up for a long time.

Heard that Eggie Hearn also stuck on Xmas do for the 100 DAZN UK subscribers and 30 of his staff attended both evenings.
