At his best Mike Tyson would be a problem for Vitali. His quickness moving in, fast hands, explosive power in any punch in his arsenal. Mike was also fairly elusive on the way in especially for an aggressive fighter.
I think case of Tyson moving Vitali backwards, that would be all she wrote.

There are several fighters who'd give Vitali a fit if not an out right beating and most have been mentioned. Who I'd favor over him?
    Louis
    Liston
    Ali
    Frazier
    Holmes
    Tyson
    Lewis
    Holyfield
    Fury
    Usyk would be interesting

I would pick Vitali over Bowe.

I would make Vitali a slight favourite over Liston.
Liston was a bit startled when he saw Ali's height up close.
Vitali is a lot taller and heavier.

I would pick Foreman to beat Vitali, maybe even stop him.
I would also pick Ali and Lewis to beat him.

Yeah Vitali has a longer reach then Ali. What I meant is Ali’s reach and speed would be a problem for Vitali, not that Ali’s reach was longer. Also Ali’s movement in his prime would have been a problem for Vitali.

I think the thing that troubled Liston the most against Ali was not so much his height but Ali's quickness of both hand and footwork.

Vitali was not a good boxer and his right hand would be easy for Holmes to see coming, same as for Louis and Liston.

You would have some good points if Vitali ever beat as good a boxer as those guys. You are also definitely overrating his power, Vitali wasn't a hard puncher, he KO'd guys on volume punching.

Fury, Bowe, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Lewis already beat Vitali. unpopular opinion but even Spinks at HW will be tough match up

Okay Vitali not a good boxer, right? The man only has the best round one to round lost for his rounds fought in the history of champions in the history of the ring.

Pay attention of how soon he finished his men to the field of those who faced then before and his KO %. Even Louis and Liston carried their share of journeyman and fringe contenders. All True, I suggest you look it up and learn. Or you can accept what I'm saying and save some time because a lot of it is fact.

Yes, once the fight got going, it was Ali's speed that undid Liston.

But when they met in the middle of the ring to get the ref's instructions, Liston seemed surprised and worried about Clay 's (Ali's ) height.

Im sure people on here will vehemently disagree but I've always thought Wilder would be a bad style match up for Vitali. This would be the rare occasion that Vitali is not the taller man. Wilder would be just as tall but a lot faster and hit much harder. Sanders hurt Vitali but gassed out extremely early in the fight. Wilder at his optimum weight below 220lb will not gas. Vitali is big and durable but his size and awkwardness was a big part of his defense. I also never looked at Vitali as being a huge puncher, nowhere near the puncher of his lil bro Wladimir. I see him as being a big target for Wilder.

You are confusing reach with wingspan. The biggest growth disorder giants ever never could approach an 80" wingspan.

Someone showed his shoulder to fist measurement recently, & here is the first Google result for his wingspan, discussing on the forum his massive 29" for the former...
