Which fight would you prefer to see? I personally prefer the Undisputed Champion to make at least one defense of all of his titles, but there's no one at 118 or below that would be much of a challenge. Estrada would get destroyed and people won't credit Inoue with the win because Inoue's bigger, faster, stronger, and more skilled, but a KO of Estrada would make for a nice scalp on the mantle piece. Estrada wouldn't get past Moloney, Rodriguez, or Nonito. Estrada called out Inoue, but I doubt he's serious or willing to leave his comfort zone and go up to 118 even though he would stand to gain boxing immortality if he won. I'll go with Fulton for 50% of the major belts.
PS — even a weakened and drained Inoue will be too much for Gallo. If old, small, and war torn Chocolatito pushed Estrada to the brink with pressure, Inoue will brutally retire him.
@JunlongXiFan What are your thoughts on the Butler fight? We both had agreed that Butler's excellent/precise movement would give us a nice little preview of what a Fulton fight could look like. His defense really shined despite being broken down. I dare say that Fulton's movement and defense aren't as good as Butler's. I thought Inoue cut off the ring very well and varied his offense impressively.
Yeah- I give him a 9.5/10 for the fight. Out of fights to go past three with him, I think it was his best display of skill overall. He only got hit once in the first two rounds. For people who consider Inoue to be defensively weak, consider this for Fulton vs Inoue: Inoue has been hit 50 times in his past two fights, and Fulton has been hit 430 times.
Fulton-Inoue is the fight everybody wants at 122. Fulton would have a great chance at putting the Monster back under the bed. Ya heard?
I disagree. Inoue gonna level up and smoke Fulton out. Keep that same energy, though. I expect you to declare Inoue the P4P King once he knocks Fulton out. MJ is the threat at 122.
Mj is only a threat in your eyes because he's going to be right in front of Inoue. Fulton won't be and will use his size and skills to dethrone your p4p king. If anything the skills of Fulton will be a greater threat to Inoue.
Fulton ain't more skilled than Inoue, so he's not outboxing Inoue. And Fulton has no power. MJ is technically very sound and he appears to be a heavy hitter, so he's more of a threat.
MJ is more of a threat to be knocked out because of his style. Fulton will finesse Inoue with skills, movement and his size advantage. Fulton will be a harder fight for Inoue based on styles.
Fulton ain't nearly as slick as you think he is. He's a move, but he's not difficult to find. If he's in all out survival mode, it will be like Butler 2. Inoue will break him down and stop him. But I don't see Fulton throwing next to no punches, so Inoue's gonna catch him sooner.
Do better? Inoue struggled against a way past it Donaire in the 1st fight, struggled to cut the ring off for 11 rounds against Butler and I'm supposed to believe Inoue can beat him, in a division he's never fought in? Yeah ok pal, ill bet you $50 bones if they fight Fulton comes out on top. Ya heard dat.
