That's fair enough. I'm just starting from the fact that Boxxer had their first show on Sky Sports in October 2021.

It's poor, but it's what happens when every man and his dog is a "promotor". Turn the clock back just to the mid 2000s and the promotor competition was nowhere near what it is now, add to that sh!* domestic level fighters demanding PPV loot - this is what you get.

A larger part of this is the "Floyd Mayweather Effect", unfortunately 99% of fighters can't make the money he did, but try telling them that. It's how AJ managed to rack up an undefeated record against dossers and grandads - he needed the 0.

Oh ok never knew that. Is it for the British title ? He is the sort of fighter Sky should be trying to sign.

Certainly not best but not the worst carrd.

Credit to Jonas for being active.

I like the look of Dalton and think he has a lot of potential.

Sokolowski is durable and level above Clarke previous opponents and should give him rounds.

John Fury was even levels above Clarke's previous opponent

Be interesting to see if Hatton is still a draw. He was washed up when he made his 'comeback' a decade ago ffs

Yes for british still has 2 fights with Matchroom and although happy to listen to Sky he’s happy also at Matchroom. Dalton is an elite boxer but not a talker. He needs a Hearn to sell him in the big fights

Not true. He’s more likely to stay with Matchroom currently. Unless Sky offer silly numbers

I know people who know both Dalton and Grant. His dad has been talking with Boxxer. They discussed it during the trip to Albania for the Marku fight, hence why Sky then decided to bid on the British title purse bids for Dalton to get the ball rolling in regards to getting him out on Sky and increasing his exposure.

I can add that I know of 3 boxers who have all boxed their last fights on Matchroom Shows and they are soon moving to Boxxer / Sky Sports.

Shocked that Hearn failed in the purse bid for Dalton. Doesn't look or feel good if your wanting to try keep a potential future star like Dalton to stay with dazn. I mean he even had the long end of the stick in negotiations with Dalton been the champ

As if you’ve gone back 2 months to make a snide comment because Matchroom have finally done something good. I’m sure Hearn will give you employee of the month for your devotion you sad man.

And for the record they did speak with Sky which both Dalton and Shalom confirmed but you’ll ignore that.

    Congratulations to Trafford.

It may be that Eddie Hearn has finally started to take the wallet out of his pocket. It's the only way Matchroom can prevent boxers from leaving them.
