Even though I wouldn't consider Fury to be a top 10 all time heavyweight, I imagine that fighting an awkward 6'8, 270 pound giant with a good fight IQ would be challenging for almost every historical great. Even if they are higher all time.

With that being said, how does Tyson Fury perform against the following:

    1. Floyd Patterson
    2. Ken Norton
    3. Jersey Joe Walcott
    4. Rocky Marciano
    5. Sonny Liston
    6. Joe Frazier
    7. Joe Louis
    8. Mike Tyson
    9. George Foreman
    10. Muhammad Ali

All fighters, including Fury, are in their prime. Each fight is 12 rounds. How does he do?

Fury is too big for all of these men. Holmes is the oldest era heavyweight who might have had something interesting for Fury to taste. Ali headhunter no chance. Mike Tyson quits after 4 rounds of hitting air and getting leaned on.

The only physical advantage old era heavies would have is their ability to shed body heat in hot climates...but having a 270 pound kitchen oven clinching you would be killer which is how Fury would deal with Manila heat. Clinch you death.

Yet he blatantly ducked Ustinov and claimed him showing up in shape was a plot by Wlad, Vit, Haye, and Chisora to get rid of him.

Out of that list… Fury beats all of them. KO’s Norton, Joe Louis and Listen probably quits in between rounds or corner stops it. Out points the rest.

The main past greats that have the best chance at beating a 100% Fury are Lewis, Prime Vitali and prime Wlad with Manny Steward. I’d bet money on prime Vitali beating him by late stoppage or UD. Wlad MIGHT get a late stoppage too after Emanuel had yelled at him enough times to “LET THEM GO!!!”

    Usyk beats him today.

The swarmers will give him the most trouble. Fury vs. Ali would depend on whether or not Fury can exploit Ali's inability to fight inside.

Yes. In which he was the hardest hitting fighter in history.
