Am I the only one who thinks Mayweather Jr would school Roberto Duran @147?

    Looking at the previous thread, a lot of people were picking Duran and Hearns by ko. Ok I will give you Hearns by ko, but I just don't see Duran by ko. I seem to think Duran would get a thorough boxing lesson.

    There are plenty of folks that say Floyd has the stuff to beat Duran at any weight from 135 to 147. Not me personally.

    But I do think Floyd is a true ATG and a tough fight for anyone in history at those weights, although I definitely agree with the general consensus on this forum that Hearns would be disastrous for him.

    Hearns was too long and too fast for Floyd to potshot for 12 rounds.

    This fight would need to happen at 135. Not sure why y'all are trying to drag these dudes up. Mayweather/Duran would be one of the all-time epic matchups.

    Anyone who claims a certain outcome is being dishonest. It's a match made in heaven.

    No one is able to claim with certainty obviously - but my opinion is, if they ever were able to fight, I think Duran would win.

    Who do you think would win? Draw?
