    Excuse my ignorance but this one of the first, if not the first time I’ve ever seen a majority draw. After searching a bit, it seems it’s one of the rarest decisions given in boxing so I thought that was interesting.:beer-toast1:

    Yeah, not a rematch; Pete's full name is "Penitente Gesmundo Apolinar II". To my knowledge it's rare for Pinoys to use traditional Western generational suffixes like that (or when they do, they opt for the styling Júnior à la most other former Spanish colonies, like Donaire, and tend not to be as stodgy about the rules that everything including middle names must identically match the father's) but there ya go. He's a "the second".

    So if they fight again it'll be Hayato Tsutsumi vs. Penitente Gesmundo Apolinar II ...II. :sisi1

    (if only he were the favorite, I could've stuck him on the left but...you know my stodgy OCD brain couldn't abide that)

    Also wtf happened with the reporting on the start time for this?? On that fight poster in the YT video it does show a 3am start (5pm in Japan) but I assumed that was for the undercard, and many places online had estimated the main event ring walks to be a more conventional 7ish our time, 9pm local.

    I had a browser tab open with TBS and everything, you're telling me that staying up a few hours and then sleeping in was an option instead of getting up at the ass crack of dawn just to find the party's over?

    Same score for me, but I had like half the rounds scored differently.
    Kazuto Ioka vs Joshua Franco

    Round 5: 10:9
    Round 6: 9:10*
    Round 7: 10:9*
    Round 8: 9:10
    Round 9: 10:9
    Round 10: 10:9*
    Round 11: 9:10*
    Round 12: 9:10
    Final Score: 114:114 Draw

    I'm surprised that all 3 judges had it so similar, considering how many rounds were close. I found it pretty hard to score - and I wonder how it looked round by round on official cards?
    Excellent technical fight, definitely no robbery. I thought Ioka was more precise in majority of rounds, but Franco had success when He was stepping on a gas and throwing more combinations.

    Thank You, @Chuck Norris . Looks like judges were in agreement on 6 rounds, while split on other 6... interesting that it was Franco pulling ahead and Ioka catching up on at least 2 of the cards. I thought that Franco took those final 2, like judge A - but hey, close fight. Tricky to score.
