Which heavyweight fights from the 2010s had larger significance and spotlight than Usyk-Fury?

First one to come to mind is Wladimir vs Haye. But that one falls short to this one still. Both Usyk and Fury are undefeated, are truly unifying ALL the straps, and are fighting for the crown of best HW of their era.

None. This is the most significant fight in the division since Lewis vs. Holyfield.

I'd be inclined to argue it's the most significant since Tyson vs Spinks.

It's the biggest and most significant HW fight of all time

It could sell out a 200,000 capacity stadium with ease if such a thing existed

Honestly they could do a 200,000 capacity stadium like that nowadays. Why not?? The Saudi’s have enough money to put into a new Super Stadium like that. They could higher enough architects and workers to do a hustle job and have it up and running by June.

Then it will be known as The House That Usyk Built. And use it for Major Events in the future.

I don't think any. AJ/Wlad was probably the biggest?

None what so ever simple as that. Fury v Usyk as well as both being unbeaten, the Undisputed fight between these two fighters is for every belt and title that can be won. Hopefully no outside forces are able to lobby the different Sanctioning bodies involved and try and enforce mandatories due to nothing more than there own green eyed jealousy . Simply put this is the Heavyweight fight boxing wants and needs .

Wlad vs Povetkin, two in shape men and prime men who earned it by beating many Ring Magazine contenders. That was the last heavyweight fight of major significance.

I’m not sure how significant that fight was to be honest. Don’t get me wrong I respect Spinks but no person at the time in their right mind gave Spinks a chance in that fight. Plus even though Spinks held the lineage everyone agreed Tyson was by far the best in the division.

I’m not sure about that. I think Fury Vs Joshua or Joshua Vs Wilder could have sold such a stadium but this fight has significantly less interest as Usyk doesn’t have many fans and casuals don’t know much about him.

Wlad was past prime. Povetkin had been avoiding a Wlad fight for years to try and age him out.
