Even if those figures are true and Floyd isn't lying again, he wasn't earning Floyd money until he was 33-0. Jake who is currently only 6-0 has been earning eight figure purses for a while now. As said, he pocketed a cool $40 mill for his three fights in 2021 and Jake says that figure is actually higher than it was reported being.

Jake's purse for his first ever fight

    £2,267,500

    Floyd's

    Oct 11/96 – W (Apodaca) – $2,500

    Mar 18/00 – W (Vargas) – $750,000

    Oct 21/00 – W (Augustus) – $250,000

    Jan 20/01 – W (Corrales) – $1,500,000

    May 26/01 – W (Hernandez) – $2,200,000

    Nov 10/01 – W (Chavez) – $1,800,000

It took Floyd until his 28th fight before he was earning the kind of money Jake earned from his first ever fight and that was an amateur bout too. And it took Floyd even longer before he was making 8 figures per fight.

Jake doesn't have to fight Mexicans on Cinco De Mayo and stack the undercard with Mexican fighters in order to ensure fans tune in in their droves.

Jake is still only a baby. He didn't even take up the sport until a few years ago for goodness sake but he's been making 8 figures since at least his third fight, 2nd pro one. That. Is. What. I. Am. Talking. About.

And that's some real doubly bubbly real talk

And he ain't ducking Floyd's kryptonite slickness either
