I said it in a previous thread where Canelo said Benavidez doesn't have a belt and Canelo has nothing to gain so he won't fight him.

I think Plant beats Benavidez to be honest.

 

Canelo takes it. Maybe not easy, but easier than most here seem to think.

 

A great match up that a lot of fans would like to see. Benavidez would take the fight but not so sure about Canelo agreeing to it .

 

If Canelo thought he could beat Benavidez he would have fought him in 2019 instead of Jacobs. He had already beaten Fielding. Weird how he didn’t want to unify til DB was out of the picture.

 

Benavides is big for the weight and Canelo is small. Benavides will beat the feces out of him in a Foreman-Frazier kind of way.

Benavidez beats Canelo at this point in their careers, and Canelo knows this.

 

Maybe a Tito vs Vargas, with Benavidez being Tito.

 

Benavidez is all wrong for Canelo. Can Canelo hurt Benavidez? No, Benavidez used to spar with GGG and took shots from Lemieux without any real problems, although he acknowledged that GGG is the best puncher he ever sparred or fought. I think Benavidez will do what Golovkin should have done, take the best Canelo has to offer, then mercilessly walk Canelo down, do what Bivol did but in pure attack mode. I think either Benavidez stops Canelo late, a wins a lopsided, close decision, as only a Canelo's Vegas judges can privide.
