    I think Ellis won easily but that’s the worst way to end a fight. Villa needs to learn how to set up his punches and cut off the ring so he can do that earlier in the fight. Ellis was gone and Villa still had plenty in the tank.

    I stand by my prior comment that Ellis is a high level gatekeeper.

    I really suspected this was going to happen because we've seen it happen so many times before. The athletic faster boxer dominates the first half of the fight then the pressure fighter or puncher comes on late to drown to drown them. Had Villa started just a round or two earlier he would've won via KO.

    That count for the first KD looked slow like the ref was trying to buy Ellis time too

    If Villa wasn't so sluggish early. He takes forever to set up his punches, he could be a real threat if he improves a bit.
