    This is why it’s important to match guys tough. Again this was viewed as a mismatch when announced and Ellis was already talking about Spence, Thurman, Crawford etc…

    It’s very difficult (outside of a Floyd Mayweather-esque / virtuoso performance)
    For a fighter to WIN the fight when he gets dominated that badly in the 12th.

    Ask Ike quartey, de la hoya, Tyson fury etc…

    I was actually looking to that one most of all out of all the ones on this card.

    Ellis is a too much sizzle not enough steak fighter. Or at least he was tonight. Had they not given it to Villa he would've been kicking himself for not starting just as bit earlier.

    I didn't score the fight, but I think I had about 4 rounds Villa with 2 KDs. There were some close rounds and I think Villa got some of those close rounds. If I gave Villa 1 extra round, it would be enough for a draw.

    It looks like 1 judge had it 7-5 Ellis and the other judges had it 6-6.

    I totally missed that. Did you think the count after the first KD was long like the ref was trying to buy Ellis some time? It looked that way to me but I might be wrong
