117-111 Ennis for me, while I think he underperformed here slightly this is a good learning fight for him moving forward and should show him that he can't just rely on his power and athleticism when he steps up to world level.

He was following chukhadzhian around too much without initating

 

I've been saying boots is no boogeyman. I'm not saying he isn't good, that karen guy is not going to be easy to look good against. As of right now I have virgil ortiz as the better young prospect.

Both fighters gave it their all. Ennis shouldn't be too hard on himself Karen is a tough night for most of the top welters.

 

I don't think this fight speaks much as to how Ennis would do against Crawford or Spence. It was just one of those fights in which it was tough to look good.
